2. What information we collect

Information reaches us in two ways, and in both cases it is the minimum necessary:

• Data collected automatically. When you visit the website, our server records technical connection data: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, language, date and time, and pages visited. It is used to provide the service, keep it secure and detect errors.
• Data you give us voluntarily. What you include when you write to us by email or by phone: normally your name, your email address and the content of your enquiry.

This website has no user accounts, does not sell online, does not manage bookings and does not send newsletters.

3. Purpose and legal basis

• Answering your enquiries about the restaurant, its menu or a visit. Legal basis: your consent when you contact us and our legitimate interest in replying to whoever writes to us.
• Keeping the website running and secure (technical server logs). Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Measuring the use of the website in aggregate, if you enable analytics cookies. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the “Cookies” link in the page footer.

No automated decisions are taken and no profiles are built with your data.

4. Retention

We keep your data for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and, afterwards, for the period in which legal liabilities may arise. Technical server logs are kept for a short period, the usual one for maintenance and security.

5. Recipients and providers

We do not pass your data on to third parties, except where legally required. To provide the service we rely on providers that may process data on our behalf:

• DigitalOcean, as hosting provider of the website (servers in the European Union).
• Google, in two cases: as provider of the mailbox where the restaurant receives and stores the enquiries (Gmail) and, only if you accept analytics cookies, for audience measurement with Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager.

6. Your rights

You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability, and withdraw any consent you have given. To do so, write to yumacalador@gmail.com or to the postal address C/ Sa Fonteta, 11, locales 9 y 10, 07660 Cala d’Or (Illes Balears), stating your request and attaching a document proving your identity.

If you believe we have not handled your request correctly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

7. Minors

The website is aimed at adults. We do not knowingly request or process data from minors through this website; if you are a minor, ask your parent or guardian to contact us.

8. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access. Among others, the website is served entirely over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access to the systems is restricted to the necessary staff.
