Cookie policy
Last updated: 15 September 2026
This policy explains which cookies and which storage yumacalador.com uses, for what purpose and how you can manage them.
- Cookies used: our own and third-party.
- Are they used for statistics? Only if you give your consent.
- Are they used for advertising? No.
1. What a cookie is and what it is for
A cookie is a small text file that a website sends to the browser of your computer, phone or tablet, and which is used to store and retrieve information about your browsing. Alongside cookies there are equivalent technologies, such as the browser’s local storage, which this website uses to remember your decision about cookies.
2. Types of cookies
Depending on who manages them:
- First-party: sent to the browser from our own domain.
- Third-party: sent by a domain we do not manage, such as Google.
Depending on how long they stay active:
- Session: they disappear when you close the browser.
- Persistent: they remain on the device until a set date.
Depending on their purpose:
- Technical: needed for the website to work and to browse it.
- Personalisation: they remember preferences such as the language.
- Analytics: they allow the use of the website to be measured statistically.
- Advertising: they show adverts according to browsing habits. This website does not use them.
3. What this website uses
The website is informative and uses the bare minimum. The fonts are served from our own domain, so they are not loaded from third-party servers.
- yuma-cookies — first-party, local storage, technical. It stores your decision about cookies so that you are not asked again. It remains until you clear your browsing data.
- YouTube (Google) — third-party, on the home page. The background video is embedded from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, which does not install tracking cookies. Google may store technical data within its own player in accordance with its policies.google.com/privacy.
- Google Analytics 4, through Google Tag Manager — third-party, analytics, optional. They tell us how many people visit the website and which pages interest them, in aggregate. They are only loaded if you accept analytics cookies: until you do, the browser does not even contact Google. They install the cookies _ga and _ga_<identifier>, which expire after 2 years, and are used to tell new visits from returning ones without identifying you personally. They are not used for advertising or to build commercial profiles. More information in policies.google.com/privacy.
4. How to manage or disable cookies
You can change your decision whenever you want from the “Cookies” link in the page footer. You can also allow, block or delete the cookies installed on your device from your browser settings. If you do not allow them to be installed, your browsing experience may be affected.
5. Changes to this policy
We may modify this cookie policy when the cookies we use or the applicable regulations change. The applicable version is the one published on this page, with its update date. If you have any questions, write to yumacalador@gmail.com. See also our privacy policy and our legal notice.
